Mulatos Mine: is located in the Sierra Madre Occidental mountain range in the east-central portion of the state of Sonora, Mexico.
The mine is approximately 220 km by air east of the City of Hermosillo, and 300 km south of the border between the United States of America and Mexico.
The Mulatos Mine operates 365 days a year and produces gold on-site as ore containing approximately 60 to 80% gold by weight, which is sent to a refinery for final processing prior to sale. Construction of the mine began in the third quarter of 2004, and the mine was completed in January 2006 at a cost of approximately $74 million. Commercial production was declared on April 1, 2006.
In 2011, the company will construct a gravity mill in order to increase global production. The mill has been designed to process high-grade ores, such as those found within the Escondida zone.

Çöpler Gold: is located in the eastern part of central Turkey, roughly 550 km east of Ankara and 120 km southwest of the city of Erzincan. There are three mineral zones at Çöpler. Gold and silver mineralisation occurs in both oxide and non-oxide (i.e. sulphide) forms.
The corporation intends to initially develop the mine and related facilities to recover gold from the oxide ores. The deeper sulphide mineralisation is being advanced to prefeasibility level engineering for potential production in a later phase. |
